The Wages of Sin

A tale of vengeance from beyond the grave.

A brutal and efficient hitman becomes overzealous about his work: murdering the innocent with the guilty. His boss is far from pleased when he finds out and decides to "eliminate" the problem. But an angry employer turns out to be the least of the hitman's worries. For the dead are not content to rest in peace until justice is served - in this world and the next.

The Wages of Sin

Reviews

"Think Reservoir Dogs meets An American Werewolf in London shot on video ... Even though they use in-camera FX and a strobe effect that would normally annoy me, it is edited in such a stylish way that the effect does actually compliment the scene and lend it that necessary otherworldliness that the ending requires, to make it successful. At 19 minutes it is the perfect length and never seems to lose the narrative thread or hit a dull spot, making it excellent filler for festivals."
-- The Rumour Machine

"The uncharitable may christen the film as an excuse to stylishly shoot a series of hits, but the proficiency in visual storytelling is enough to warrant nineteen minutes of anyone's time. Plus, the strobe-lit climax, when the hitman's victims return for retribution, is a successful nod to Lynchian motifs ... Recommended for those who like their Reservoir Dogs with a twist of the supernatural."
-- Samhain magazine

"Well written, acted and directed. Combined with great cinematography, this is a fine example of how to create tone and atmosphere effectively with the video format."
